While an ex-offender struggles to be a law abiding citizen but is unable to provide for his family. This is a dramatic, insightful, thought provoking, yet comical stage play.

When a horrific past memory revisits you, it comes as an unresolved issue.  You can choose to deal with it face on or ignore that it's there. The easy way out is to ignore your issue and live your life in Denial. That is the mask one wears that shows they are okay. Facing the truth can be painful. Living in Denial, your lie is truth to you and whomever you involve yourself with.  This is Deceptive.  Your lie is only going to last for so long.  Truth will have its rightful place in every circumstance.  In order for Truth to have its rightful place; Deception has to cause Damage. If one does not deal with the issues of Denial, Deceptive and Damage they have done, they will continue to live their life as a Deadly Poison. It is not until one faces themselves in truth, whether you are right or wrong, can bring peace and closure to an unresolved issue.  It will never torment you again.

Delilah

Simons being married to Tracy silently lives in frustration. His anger builds up so, he secretly becomes emotionally unattached from his wife. Though Simon continues to cater to Tracy’s never ending complaints, unrealistic request, disrespectful remarks and actions, eventually he can’t hide what he’s been feeling. Simon loses his passion for his wife. Tracy blinded by her selfishness does not realize she is losing her husband. She is so caught up with having her way; she cannot see that her marriage is self-destructing right before her eyes. Tracy shares a lot of her marriage business with Delilah. Delilah gives good advice to Tracy at first. Soon Delilah discovers that Tracy doesn’t have the ability to value Simon as a husband. Tracy’s information becomes Delilah’s weapon. Still to this day, Delilah’s weapon is successful in the destruction of many marriages and broken homes. The blame totally is not on Delilah. Delilah gets her help from wives. When Tracy finally realizes this, it’s too late.
